    1. They didn’t have a important reason to study Italian. They did it just because they feel like it.
    4.He felt that latin was a corrupted language. And to use it turn literature in a harlot.
    6.Becaue it is used in the fourteenth century by one of the Western civilization’s greatest poets.

    What do the author and her 11 classmates all have in common?

    That they are just learjing Italian for fun, because they really love Italian. They find Italian fascinating.

    What distinguishes modern Italian from the other Romance languages?
    That Italy was not even considered a country till late 1861 and they used to speak in different dialects and at the end they chose the most beautiful and accepted it to be the language of the country.

    What can you infer about the author from the last sentence?
    She really finds Italian a fascinating Language, full of nice expressions, she even has the same opinion as the German Enginner that’s comparing Italian to “Dolce Vita”. She loves Italian and want to learn as a second language.

    That they want to speak Italian because they love the way it makes them feel.

    What distinguishes modern Italian from the other Romance languages?
    That Italian was formed for some intellectuals who handpicked the most beautiful of all the local dialects.

    Why do you think the author believes that Italian is the perfect language through which to express human emotions?
    Because Italian is the language of love. My opinion is that if you are able to express with your language the sense of the word LOVE you are able to express every emotion.

    4. Dante says that Latin is a corrupted elitist language and it turned literature into a harlot by turning narrative into something which is deny for people with money.

    5. Maybe the author use ‘would be…’, ‘was going to…’ several times in the 2nd to last full paragraph, because what she says is not equal to her opinion. And she wants to point this distance out.
